The group then recorded and released their take on Electric Ladyland, Hendrix’s unique mix of blues, rock, funk, jazz and psychedelia. Electric Lady Big Band interpret the music of Jimi Hendrix with power, precision, passion and deep respect serving as a reminder of the true genius of Jimi as composer and musician, a legacy he left us far beyond the popular guitar hero image. Each member of the band has been hand-picked for their ability as section players and soloists alike. As Jimi himself used to say... watch out for your ears!
